Human neurology is outdated. As a species we have evolved our environment faster than our biology has been able to keep pace.

Our behaviour is mitigated by brains and bodies that are suited to lives at odds with our current existences. This tension was explored and codified by Kahneman and Tversky who identified that, far from being the rational individuals that we would like to imagine, we are instead subject to biases, heuristics and irrational intuitions.

The influence of these psychological forces on our everyday lives were expressed in in their Theory Of Regret.

The music of sourmilk explores this interaction of neurology and the metropolis using improvised electronic soundscapes and field recordings.
